The heart of my concept lies in understanding Michael Ende's The Neverending Story.
The healing of the Childlike Empress (the inner child), passing through the three gates to Uyulala (the voice of the soul), and encountering the Source are the essential components of the personal, transformative part of the Handpan Path that accompanies our journey on the handpan.
The world of sound is our Phantásia.
Healing, leading to the origin, finding freedom—this is exactly what music can do when we let our hearts take the lead.
This is precisely why Robert Fripp speaks of the discipline of the heart as the most important of the three disciplines of a musician:
hands, head, and heart.
